Supply Chain and Charging Policy
The COVET are able to support many training and development solutions through our partners. The COVET is a not for profit company. The COVET contracts all work to the the consortium partners. Our Supply Chain and Charges Policy is available by clicking the image below. This also includes the subcontrcated values of the consortium partners.
COVET are subject to an external audit for our subcontracting arrangements in line with the ESFA's funding rules annually. See the latest audit certificate.
SAFEGUARDING and WELFARE
COVET is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the apprentices enrolled on the programmes and expects all staff and volunteers working within the the programmes of learning to share this commitment.
This means that we have a Safeguarding Policy and procedures in place which we operate within. All staff (including temporary, volunteers and senior management) must ensure that they are aware of these procedures. Apprentices, parents, carers and employers are welcome to read the policy which can be found below with other related policies.
On occasions there may be the need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about an apprentices’ welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our apprentices are discussed with his/her parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child’s welfare.
